Abstract:
(EN) A method for production of potable water by clarification of water of an aqueous environment including suspended charged mineral, organic colloidal particles that may be of biocontaminants, and mixtures thereof, the method comprising applying to the water at least one nanocomposite consisting of: (a) a mineral platform which is denser than water and most organic compounds and (b) at least one polyelectrolyte polymer adsorbed to said mineral platform with charge that opposes the charge of the suspended colloidal particles.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'eau potable par clarification d'eau d'un environnement aqueux comprenant un minéral chargé en suspension, des particules colloïdales organiques qui peuvent être de biocontaminants, et des mélanges de ceux-ci, le procédé comprenant l'application à l'eau d'au moins un nanocomposite constitué de : (a) une plateforme minérale qui est plus dense que l'eau et la plupart des composés organiques et (b) au moins un polymère de polyélectrolyte adsorbé sur ladite plateforme minérale ayant une charge opposée à la charge des particules colloïdales en suspension.
