Abstract:
The invention relates to a height-adjustment device for a piece of furniture, having at least one telescopic support with at least two supporting elements (4, 5, 6), of which a first supporting element (4) is guided in a displaceable manner, by way of a sub-region, in at least one second tubular supporting element (5, 6), located on the outside of the first supporting element, and can be shifted therein by means of an actuating drive. The height-adjustment device according to the invention is characterized in that the actuating drive has at least one actuator (7, 8), which is operative between two adjacent supporting elements (4, 5; 5, 6) and is formed from at least three actuating elements (9, 10, 11), which can be activated separately from one another and can each be expanded or contracted in a direction of operation, in that at least two first actuating elements (9, 11) can be expanded or contracted in the circumferential direction such that each of these first actuating elements (9, 11) butt with fixing action against the inner circumference or outer circumference of at least one of the supporting elements (4, 5, 6), and in that at least one second actuating element (10), which keeps the first actuating elements (9, 11) spaced apart, has a direction of operation oriented in the longitudinal direction of the telescopic support (1), such that, by virtue of the second actuating element (10) being activated and expanded or contracted, or extended or shortened, it is possible to alter the distance between the first actuating elements (9, 11) in order to perform a lifting or actuating movement.
