Abstract:
A new audio transducer for mobile devices, in particular for a micro speaker, having a pot plate (80,180), a collar (116,216,316), a membrane (12,112), a magnet system (50,150) and a coil assembly (130). The magnet system (50,150) may optionally comprise a ring plate (58,158) affixed to a population of outer magnets (54,154). At least some of the surfaces of the transducer parts facing the coil (32,132) have a spectral absorption coefficient of α>0.8 in a wavelength range of λ=5.06 μm to λ=9.89 μm. In addition, the coil (32,132) or exterior surfaces of the speaker (10,110,120) may have a surface with said absorption characteristics as well.
