Abstract:
An embodiment of the present application provides a modulation method and a device, the method comprising: receiving a codeword sequence, each codeword comprising N bits, and each of the codeword sequences minimally comprising a first codeword; mapping the codeword sequence as M channel sequences, each of the channel sequence comprising N/M bits derived from the first codeword; mapping the M channel sequences onto a symbol sequence, each of the symbols corresponding to M bits, wherein the M bits are derived the M channel sequences, wherein a first bit corresponding to N/M first symbols is derived from the first codeword, and a second bit corresponding to N/M second symbols is derived from the first codeword. A first bit corresponding to the second symbol must be derived from a codeword other than the first codeword. Information of the first codeword can be used to demodulate another codeword in the second symbol, thereby improving a bit demodulation accuracy in the other codeword of the second symbol and lowering a signal-to-noise ratio requirement of a high-order modulation.
