Abstract:
(EN) For communication utilizing polar codes, a hybrid automatic repeat request algorithm utilizing incremental redundancy (HARQ-IR) may provide increased throughput by including new data, not based on an original transmission, in a HARQ retransmission. The number of retransmitted bits and new information bits in each HARQ retransmission may be controlled in order to manage a tradeoff between increased throughput and a decreased block error rate (BLER).
(FR) Selon l’invention, pour une communication à l'aide de codes polaires, un algorithme de requête automatique de répétition hybride (HARQ) utilisant une redondance incrémentielle (HARQ-IR) peut fournir un débit amélioré en incluant de nouvelles données, qui ne sont pas basées sur une transmission d’origine, dans une retransmission HARQ. Le nombre de bits retransmis et de nouveaux bits d'information dans chaque retransmission HARQ peut être contrôlé de sorte à gérer un compromis entre un débit accru et un taux d'erreur de bloc réduit (BLER).
