Abstract:
(EN) For communication utilizing polar codes, a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) algorithm is provided that takes advantage of the benefits of chase combining HARQ (HARQ-CC) and incremental redundancy HARQ (HARQ-IR), by selecting one or the other in accordance with a code rate of the first transmission. In some examples, the HARQ algorithm utilizes HARQ-IR when the code rate in the first transmission is greater than a code rate threshold, and utilizes HARQ-CC when the code rate in the first transmission is less than the code rate threshold.
(FR) Pour une communication à l'aide de codes polaires, l’invention concerne un algorithme de requête automatique de répétition hybride (HARQ) qui tire profit des avantages d’une HARQ à combinaison de Chase (HARQ-CC) et d’une HARQ à redondance incrémentielle (HARQ-IR), en sélectionnant l'une ou l'autre des HARQ selon un débit de code de la première transmission. Dans certains exemples, l'algorithme HARQ utilise l'HARQ-IR lorsque le débit de code dans la première transmission est supérieur à un seuil de débit de code, et utilise l'HARQ-CC lorsque le débit de code dans la première transmission est inférieur au seuil de débit de code.
