Abstract:
Provided are a quantum dot backlight module and a liquid crystal television. The quantum dot backlight module comprises multiple quantum dot planar light source modules (200). Each quantum dot planar light source module (200) comprises: a light source (210); a light guide assembly (220); a reflection block (230); and a quantum dot phosphor module (240). The light guide assembly (220) has a through hole (223). The reflection block (230) is inserted into the through hole (223). The light source (210) and the reflection block (230) are arranged opposite to each other. The quantum dot phosphor module (240) is disposed between the light source (210) and the reflection block (230). The invention can significantly reduce the thickness of a quantum dot backlight module, improve image quality, and reduce costs.
