Title: REMOTE HAZARDOUS GAS DETECTION DEVICE BASED ON TERAHERTZ WAVES
Abstract:
A remote hazardous gas detection device based on terahertz waves comprises a terahertz generation source (1), a terahertz signal receiver (7), a high speed delay module (3), a sealed gas box (13), a vacuum pump (8), and gas valves (9, 11). Terahertz waves obtained from the terahertz signal receiver (7) in a vacuum environment are used as reference signals. Then, in an environment of a hazardous gas remotely introduced into the sealed gas box (13) by means of a long-distance vacuum pipe (12), the terahertz signal receiver (7) obtains terahertz waves. Upon comparison of two groups of terahertz waves, components and a concentration ratio of the hazardous gas introduced into the sealed gas box (13) can be obtained.
