Abstract:
(EN) A centrifugal compressor (22) for a chiller system (10) includes a casing (30), an inlet guide vane (32a, 32b), an impeller (34a, 34b) disposed downstream of the inlet guide vane (32a, 32b), a motor (38) and a diffuser (36a, 36b). The casing (30) has inlet (31a, 31b) and outlet (33a, 33b) portions with the inlet guide vane (32a, 32b) disposed in the inlet portion (3 la, 31 b). The impeller (34a, 34b) is attached to a shaft (42) rotatable about a rotation axis (X), and the motor (38) rotates the shaft (42) in order to rotate the impeller (34a, 34b). The centrifugal compressor (22) further includes a casing treatment bypass (60a, 60b) having an entrance port (61) and an exit port (63). The casing treatment bypass (60a, 60b) injects refrigerant from a gap between the impeller (34a, 34b) and the inlet portion (31a, 31b) of the casing (30) toward an area between the impeller (34a, 34b) and the inlet guide vane (32a, 32b). The exit port (63) of the casing treatment bypass (60a, 60b) is positioned upstream in a direction of a refrigerant flow with respect to the entrance port (61) of the casing treatment bypass (60a, 60b).
(FR) L'invention concerne un compresseur centrifuge (22) pour un système de refroidisseur (10), lequel compresseur comprend un carter (30), une aube de guidage d'entrée (32a, 32b), une hélice (34a, 34b) disposée en aval de l'aube de guidage d'entrée (32a, 32b), un moteur (38) et un diffuseur (36a, 36b).
