Abstract:
(EN) Various aspects of a system and method to process video based on quantization parameters are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the method includes extraction of a plurality of features to capture texture information of an image block. A neural network regressor is trained to map the extracted plurality of features to determine an optimal quantization parameter. The image block is encoded by use of the determined optimal quantization parameter.
(FR) L'invention concerne divers aspects d'un système et d'un procédé de traitement d'une vidéo sur la base de paramètres de quantification. Dans un mode de réalisation, le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : extraire une pluralité d'éléments de façon à capturer des informations sur la texture d'un bloc d'image; former un régresseur de réseau neuronal afin de mapper la pluralité d'éléments extraite de façon à déterminer un paramètre de quantification optimal; et coder le bloc d'image en utilisant le paramètre de quantification optimal déterminé.
