Abstract:
(EN) A geolocation system on a platform, for example, an airplane, to identify a location of a signal emitting site includes an inertial navigation system and an array of signal detectors. A first subset of the detectors is on a flexing portion of the platform and a second subset of detectors is on a rigid portion of the platform. An inertial measurement unit is disposed adjacent to each of the detectors on the flexing portion. A locator module is configured to: calculate a respective velocity and a respective position of each one of the detectors positioned on the flexing portion as a function of respective inertial measurement data; and determine a position of the emitter as a function of the calculated velocity, calculated position, inertial navigation data, the detected signal data and data defining a flexure relationship between the flexing and rigid portions of the platform.
(FR) Un système de géolocalisation sur une plateforme, par exemple un avion, permettant d'identifier un emplacement d'un site d'émission de signal, comprend un système de navigation par inertie et un réseau de détecteurs de signal. Un premier sous-ensemble des détecteurs se trouve sur une partie de flexion de la plateforme et un second sous-ensemble de détecteurs se trouve sur une partie rigide de la plateforme. Une unité de mesure inertielle est disposée adjacente à chacun des détecteurs sur la partie de flexion. Un module de localisation est conçu pour : calculer une vitesse respective et une position respective de chacun des détecteurs positionnés sur la partie de flexion en fonction de données de mesure d'inertie respectives ; et déterminer une position de l'émetteur en fonction de la vitesse calculée, de la position calculée, des données de navigation inertielle, des données de signal détectées et des données définissant une relation de flexion entre les parties de flexion et rigide de la plateforme.
