Abstract:
The method of filling a fuel tank, especially bio-fireplace fuel tank, which allows fully automatic tank filling to a desired level and also, if necessary, its quick emptying due to, for example, a failure, is characterized by the fact that the fuel tank (4) designed for Filling is filled with fuel with the use of the electric pump (1) collecting fuel from the supplementary fuel container (6), whereby the electric pump (1) is electrically powered from the electrical socket (7) supplied with power from a controller (8), which, during the process of filling the fuel tank (4) with fuel and based on the signal from the fuel level sensor (9) activated when the desired level of filling the fuel tank (4) with fuel is achieved, cuts off power supply in the power supply socket (7) that supplies power to the pump (1); the electric pump (1 ) is connected to the fuel tank (4) detachable by the quick-release coupling (12), which is fixed to the fuel tank (4) and, by the fuel line (3), to the electric pump (1), and to which the hose (13) is fixed which is introduced into the bottom of the fuel tank (4), whereby the second fuel line (5) introduced into the fuel container (6) and connected to the electric pump (1) ends with the part of the quick- release coupler (14) which, if necessary, is connected to the fuel tank (4) intended for filling and fuel in it is pumped out. A characteristic of the assembly for filling a fuel tank, especially bio-fireplace fuel tank, is that it is composed of the electric pump (1), two fuel lines (3, 5) connected in sequence to the electric pump (1), of which the first fuel line is detachably fixed to the fuel tank (4) being filled by a quick-release coupler (12) connected with the hose (13) introduced into the bottom of the tank (4), and the second fuel line is introduced into the supplementary fuel container (6) and ends with the part of the quick-release coupling (14) which allows connection of the line, alternatively with the first line (3), to the fuel tank (4) intended for filling in order to empty the tank, and the socket-equipped (7) controller (8) which supplies power to the electric pump (1 ) connected to the socket (7), and the controller (8) has the function of cutting off power in the electrical socket (7) supplying power to the electric pump (1) and this function is activated by a signal from the fuel level sensor (9) built in the fuel tank (4) when the desired tank (4) filling level is achieved.
