Abstract:
(EN) The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a seed having high storage ability by accumulating cuticula, which is a substance capable of protecting the surface of a plant, in the surface part of the seed at a high level; and a plant of which seeds have improved storage capability. Provided is a method for increasing the accumulation of cuticula in a seed coat by expressing a transcription regulation factor encoded by "LMI2 gene" or "MYB16 gene" or "MYB106 gene" originated from a plant Arabidopsis thaliana or a homologue of the transcription regulation factor in a plant of interest under the control of a promoter originated from CYP77A6 gene.
(FR) La présente invention aborde le problème consistant à fournir : une semence ayant une aptitude au stockage élevée par accumulation de cuticule à un niveau élevé dans la partie de surface de la semence, la cuticule étant une substance capable de protéger la surface d'une plante ; et une plante dont les semences ont une aptitude au stockage améliorée. La solution selon l'invention consiste en un procédé visant à accroître l'accumulation de cuticule dans le tégument d'une graine par l'expression d'un facteur de régulation de la transcription codé par le gène LMI2, le gène MYB16 ou le gène MYB106 provenant d'une plante Arabidopsis thaliana, ou d'un homologue du facteur de régulation de la transcription chez une plante d'intérêt sous le contrôle d'un promoteur issu du gène CYP77A6.
(JA) 本発明の課題は、植物の表面を保護するクチクラを種子の表面に高蓄積させることによる保存性の高い種子の提供、及び種子の保存能力を高めた植物を提供することにある。 対象とする植物において、シロイヌナズナ由来の「LMI2遺伝子」又は「MYB16遺伝子」又は「MYB106遺伝子」によりコードされる転写制御因子、又はそのホモログを、CYP77A6遺伝子由来プロモータの制御下で発現させることにより種皮へのクチクラの蓄積を増加させる方法を提供する。
