Abstract:
Provided are: a carbon-containing material gasification system such that the range of carbon-containing materials that can be used can be expanded; and a method for setting an oxidizing agent partition ratio for the system. The carbon-containing material gasification system includes: a gasification furnace (2) which has a combustion zone (20) and a gasification zone (21) and produces product gas (10); and a char supplying means which separates char (12) from the product gas (10) and supplies the same to the combustion zone (20). The combustion zone (20) has a carbon-containing material combustion means and a char combustion means. The carbon-containing material gasification system further includes an oxidizing agent partition ratio setting means which sets, according to a material partition ratio (Rc) of the gasification zone (21) defined by formula [1], an oxidizing agent partition ratio (Ro) defined by formula [2] to be smaller as the material partition ratio (Rc) increases.
