Title: TUNING DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC POWER STEERING DEVICE
Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to suppress operation costs for tuning an electric power steering device and to reduce the time for computing a steering assistance command value. Disclosed is a tuning device for an electric power steering device that performs steering assistance on the basis of a correlation between a steering torque and a steering assistance command value corresponding to said steering torque, the tuning device comprising: a candidate point acceptance unit that accepts a plurality of candidate points each expressed by a steering torque and a candidate value of a steering assistance command value corresponding to said steering torque; a polynomial expression calculating unit that calculates a higher-order polynomial expression which approximates said plurality of candidate points; an adjustment point calculating unit that, on the basis of said higher-order polynomial expression, calculates a plurality of adjustment points in a quantity greater than that of said plurality of candidate points and that are each expressed by a steering torque and a steering assistance command value corresponding to said steering torque; a linear function calculating unit that calculates a plurality of linear functions connecting two adjacent points among said plurality of adjustment points; and an adjustment information output unit that outputs information about said plurality of linear functions in order to adjust said correlation.
