Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to appropriately represent the state of the internal resistance for a battery through which a current is flowing. The battery management system 100 comprises a battery information acquisition unit 103, a voltage calculation unit 104, a current variation amount calculation unit 109, and a resistance correction amount calculation unit 111. The battery information acquisition unit 103 acquires the voltage value V of the storage battery 101 through which a current is flowing. The voltage calculation unit 104 acquires a battery voltage predicted value Vmodel of the storage battery 101 through which a current is flowing, by a different method from that of the battery information acquisition unit 103. The current variation amount calculation unit 109 calculates the per-unit-time current variation amount dI/dt of the storage battery 101. On the basis of the current variation amount dI/dt and the result of a comparison between the voltage value V and the battery voltage predicted value Vmodel, the resistance correction amount calculation unit 111 corrects an equivalent circuit model representing the internal state of the storage battery 101 comprising a direct current resistance component R0 and a polarization resistance component Rp.
