Abstract:
A salient-pole rotor (16A) is equipped with a magnetic pole portion (22A), which is equipped with a plurality of protruding portions (27A). The protruding portions (27A) are provided spaced apart in the circumferential direction of a rotary shaft (20) so as to protrude radially outward from a base portion (26A), and has an outer peripheral surface along a virtual cylindrical surface. The magnetic pole portion (22A) is equipped with a recessed reinforcing portion (23A) that is provided within recessed portions (29A) and a cylindrical reinforcing portion (24) that covers the magnetic pole portion (22A) and the outer peripheral surface of the recessed reinforcing portion (23A). The base portion (26A) is equipped with a plurality of radially-spaced-apart slits (28) extending in the circumferential direction. The interior of the slits (28) is equipped with a slit reinforcing portion (25) comprising a nonmagnetic material.
