Abstract:
Provided are a system for preventing hydrogen leakage, a method for preventing hydrogen leakage, a system for producing hydrogen, and a system for storing electric power, whereby safety is enhanced by stopping the system immediately when there is a hydrogen leak. A system for preventing hydrogen leakage, provided with an electrolysis unit for electrolyzing water vapor and generating hydrogen and oxygen, an electric furnace for accommodating the electrolysis unit inside the furnace and heating the electrolysis unit, a supply pipe for supplying water vapor to the electrolysis unit, an outlet pipe for extracting hydrogen from the electrolysis unit, a sensing device for sensing an in-furnace gas component in the electric furnace, a determination device for determining whether leakage of the in-furnace hydrogen is present from data acquired from the sensing device, and a control device for controlling the amount of water vapor supplied to the electrolysis unit on the basis of the determination by the determination device.
