Abstract:
The invention relates to an electronic component (100) which is designed to generate an electromagnetic field, wherein the electronic component (100) forms a security feature for authentication purposes, having a component portion (101), which can be exposed to the electromagnetic field and a molecular layer (103) for influencing an electrical characteristic of the electronic component (100), wherein the molecular layer is arranged on the component portion (101) and can be brought into an excitation state by the electrical field in order to influence the electrical characteristic of the electronic component (100).
