Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a stent for transluminal implantation in hollow organs, particularly in blood vessels, the ureter, the oesophagus, the colon, the duodenum or bile ducts. The stent comprises a first stent section comprising a substantially tubular first body which extends along a first longitudinal axis and comprises a first lateral end and a first central end. The stent also comprises a second stent section comprising a substantially tubular second body which extends along a second longitudinal axis and comprises a second lateral end and a second central end. The first stent section and the second stent section are connected to each other in the region of the central ends by means of a coupling section, the stent comprising a plurality of cells which are defined by bordering elements formed by the tubular bodies, the tubular bodies each being able to switch from a compressed state with a first cross-sectional diameter to an expanded state with an enlarged second cross-sectional diameter. The stent according to the invention is characterised in that the first central end of the first stent section is embodied in a sloping manner.

Weiterhin umfasst der Stent einen zweiten Stentabschnitt mit einem im Wesentlichen röhrenförmigen zweiten Körper, der sich entlang einer zweiten Längsachse erstreckt und ein zweites laterales Ende sowie ein zweites zentrales Ende aufweist. Dabei sind der erste Stentabschnitt und der zweite Stentabschnitt im Bereich der zentralen Endenmittels eines Koppelabschnitts miteinander verbunden, wobei der Stent eine Vielzahl von Zellen umfasst, welche von durch die röhrenförmigen Körper gebildeten Umrandungselementen definiert werden, wobei die röhrenförmigen Körper jeweils von einem komprimierten Zustand mit einem ersten Querschnittsdurchmesser in einen expandierten Zustand mit einem vergrößerten zweiten Querschnittsdurchmesser überführbar sind. Der erfindungsgemäße Stent zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass das erste zentrale Ende des ersten Stentabschnitts abgeschrägt ausgebildet ist.
