A hand-held auxiliary stabilizer for image pickup and video shooting is provided. One end of a roll mechanical arm (2) is rotatably connected to a roll mechanical arm mounting seat (6) with a center line γ of rotation. The roll mechanical arm mounting seat is rotatably connected to a pitch mechanical arm (1) with a center line α of rotation. A pitch corrected motor (4) is disposed on a rotating shaft of the roll mechanical arm mounting seat. A fixing seat (3) with a center line β of rotation is rotatably mounted beside a side surface of the other end of the roll mechanical arm, and a roll corrected motor (5) is disposed on a rotating shaft of the fixing seat. The center line γ of rotation is perpendicular to a plane in which the center line α of rotation intersects with the center line β of rotation. An accelerometer and a gyroscope are disposed on the fixing seat and connected to the pitch corrected motor and the roll corrected motor by means of control units. The stabilizer is further provided with a pitch-angle regulating switch of the pitch corrected motor which is connected to the pitch corrected motor by means of a control unit. The stabilizer is helpful for a user to find out the balanced center position of gravity of a mobile phone (9) rapidly and conveniently without any professional skills； the stabilizer is low in system power consumption and less in heat emission； moreover, a lens of a shooting device is always kept to stably face a subject of shooting with high image quality.
