Title: METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SAVING BASEBAND RESOURCES AND POWER RESOURCES OF BASE STATION
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and device for saving baseband resources and power resources of a base station. The method comprises the following steps: merging a macro sector and a micro sector into a logic cell, and configuring a baseband subsystem and a radio frequency subsystem for the logic cell; the baseband subsystem separately measuring, when a mobile terminal moves in the logic cell, mobile terminal uplink signal quality SIR_S received by the micro sector and mobile terminal uplink signal quality SIR_M received by the macro sector; the baseband subsystem and the radio frequency subsystem collaboratively allocating, according to the measured SIR_S and SIR_M, baseband resources and power resources associated with the macro sector and the micro sector. In the present invention, resources are finely allocated according to resource consumption of users in an unbalanced-coverage area of a macro sector and a micro sector, so that downlink interference of the users in the unbalanced-coverage area becomes useful signals and the downlink power of the micro sector is not limited, thereby improving the utilization efficiency of the baseband resources and power resources associated with the macro sector and the micro sector.
