Abstract:
A driving method for a liquid crystal display panel (1) and a driving system for a liquid crystal display panel (1). A timing controller (3) comprises a counter (31), a TFT turn-on voltage computation module (32), and an I2C instruction module (33). The value of the counter (31) is incremented by 1 every time the timing controller (3) outputs a row of display data to the liquid crystal display panel (1); every time the value of the counter (31) reaches i×M/N, the TFT turn-on voltage computation module (32) computes a target TFT turn-on voltage of the (i+1)th gate driver IC and transmits same to the I2C instruction module (33); the I2C instruction module (33) controls a PWM IC (2) to output, to the (i+1)th gate driver IC, the target TFT turn-on voltage corresponding to the (i+1)th gate driver IC, thereby dynamically adjusting TFT turn-on voltages in time to ensure the consistency between the TFT turn-on voltages actually received by the gate driver ICs. Therefore, the charging times for different pixel display zones of the liquid crystal display panel (1) are the same, thereby eliminating the problem of horizontal blocks and improving the quality of the liquid crystal display panel (1).
