Title: METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HANDING OVER USER EQUIPMENT AMONG WIRELESS ACCESS POINTS
Abstract:
An objective of the present application is to provide a method, device and system for handing over a user equipment among wireless access points. Compared with the prior art, in the present application, a target wireless access point to which a corresponding user equipment is to be handed over is obtained on a network device end; access information corresponding to the target wireless access point is determined; then the access information is sent to the user equipment through a current network connection between the user equipment and the corresponding current wireless access point, so that the user equipment establishes a wireless connection with the target wireless access point; correspondingly, the user equipment receives the access information, and establishes a wireless connection with the target wireless access point. In this way, automatic handover of a user equipment from a currently-connected wireless access point to a target wireless access point, and access information is sent in advance by means of a current network connection between the user equipment and a current wireless access point, so that the handover efficiency is improved, and a user can also implement automatic handover among the wireless access points especially in a moving process when the wireless access points are used. Especially, compared with a technical solution in which handover among access points is implemented by improving access pints or a user equipment, this solution greatly reduces energy consumption of the user equipment, and no wireless access point needs to improved, thereby ensuring the feasibility of the implementation of this solution; in addition, due to security, privacy and other factors, a wireless access point usually cannot obtain access information of a wireless access point of another user; in this solution, a network device helps the user obtain access information of a target wireless access pint, thereby avoiding hidden safety risks and expanding the applicable range of this solution.
