Abstract:
(EN) A method and apparatus for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) modulation includes separating a frequency-domain sequence of complex numbers into a first portion and a second portion that is disjoint with the first portion, each of the first portion and the second portion including a respective half of the complex numbers of the frequency-domain sequence, and generating a time-domain sequence having a real in-phase component that is a function of the first portion only, and an imaginary quadrature-phase component that is a function of the second portion only.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de modulation par multiplexage par répartition orthogonale de la fréquence (OFDM). Le procédé comprend la séparation d'une séquence de domaine de fréquence de nombres complexes en une première partie et une seconde partie qui est disjointe de la première partie, chacune de la première partie et de la seconde partie comprenant une moitié respective des nombres complexes de la séquence de domaine de fréquence ; et la génération d'une séquence de domaine temporel ayant un composant en phase réel qui est une fonction de la première partie seulement, et un composant de phase de quadrature imaginaire qui est une fonction de la seconde partie seulement.
