Abstract:
(EN) A method for reducing heat build-up on a substrate, the method comprising the steps of: applying a coating composition to a surface of a substrate or article to be coated, wherein the coating composition comprises: an IR reflective compound; a light- scattering compound; a binder resin; and a solvent; coalescing the coating composition to form a substantially continuous film; and curing the substantially continuous film. The coating composition when formed into a film and cured reduces heat buildup on a substrate such as, for example, an artificial turf field.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé pour réduire l'accumulation de chaleur sur un substrat, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : appliquer une composition de revêtement sur une surface d'un substrat ou d'un article à revêtir, la composition de revêtement comprenant : un composé réfléchissant les IR ; un composé diffusant la lumière ; une résine formant liant ; et un solvant ; provoquer la coalescence de la composition de revêtement pour former un film sensiblement continu ; et durcir le film sensiblement continu. La composition de revêtement, lorsqu'elle est transformée en un film et durcie, réduit l'accumulation de chaleur sur un substrat tel que, par exemple, un terrain de gazon artificiel.
