Abstract:
(EN) A user defines the real costs for each of the individual inks used in printer and also defines a tolerance level for visual acceptance, defined in CIE units of DeltaE2000. Then, an algorithm performs a search through all nodes of the device link profile and for each node it tries to find an ink combination that creates less costs and is still within the given visual tolerance (< dE2000).
(FR) Un utilisateur définit les coûts réels pour chacune des encres individuelles utilisées dans une imprimante et définit également un niveau de tolérance concernant l'acceptation visuelle, défini dans des unités CIE de DeltaE2000. Ensuite, un algorithme effectue une recherche parmi tous les nœuds du profil de lien de dispositif, et pour chaque nœud il essaie de trouver une combinaison d'encre qui génère moins de coûts tout en restant dans la tolérance visuelle donnée (< dE2000).
