Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure identifies RNAs (including mRNAs and miRNAs) that are bound by LIN-28 in C. elegans. Many of these RNAs have clear human orthologs, and many of these human orthologs are common druggable targets in cancer and/or other diseases, such as kinases, phosphatases, methyltransferases, phosphodiesterases, etc. Accordingly, the present disclosure provides biological targets for LIN-28 expressing cancers, and which are thus useful for selecting chemical and/or biological agents for cancer treatment.
(FR) La présente invention identifie des ARN (y compris des ARNm et des miARN) qui sont liés par LIN-28 dans C. elegans. Un grand nombre de ces ARN ont des orthologues humains clairs, et de nombreux de ces orthologues humains sont des cibles thérapeutiques communes dans le cancer et/ou d'autres maladies, telles que des kinases, des phosphatases, des méthyltransférases, des phosphodiestérases, etc. En conséquence, la présente invention concerne des cibles biologiques pour des cancers exprimant LIN-28, et qui sont donc utiles pour sélectionner des agents chimiques et/ou biologiques pour le traitement du cancer.
