Title: DYNAMIC ADAPTIVE BUFFERING-BASED OTT DATA PROCESSING METHOD
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an OTT data processing technology with adaptive buffering for transmission at a video bitrate that dynamically optimizes an HLS. The present invention reads a client bandwidth capacity so as to control a video stream between a multilayer bitrate and a bandwidth adjuster. Particularly, a multi-channel dynamic buffering scheme of the present invention additionally configures a buffer for a legacy HLS and each buffer continuously buffers, in advance, a relatively previous channel and a relatively subsequent channel of a current channel. Therefore, the present invention can advantageously reduce a channel zapping delay time during media channel switching.
