Abstract:
The present invention provides a magnesium secondary cell provided with a cathode, an anode that discharges magnesium ions, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, wherein the nonaqueous electrolyte contains a solvent, and a magnesium sulfonamide salt represented by the following formula (I) [Chemical formula 1] Mg[X1–SO2–N–SO2–X2]2 (I) (In the formula, X1 and X2 may be the same or different, and represent CpF2p+1, or X1 and X2 are together, and represent CqF2q. p represents 0, 1, 2, or 3. q represents 2, 3 or 4.), and the solvent is a mixed solvent containing a sulfone-based solvent and ether, or a thioether-based solvent; or, is a solvent containing a sulfone portion and ether, or a thioether portion.
