Abstract:
(EN) Provided is an engine wherein the engine bay is prevented from becoming wet, by having a configuration wherein coolant that has leaked from a reserve tank is sprayed to the exterior by a cooling fan. This engine (1) comprises: a fan case (13) that is provided on the side surface of a radiator (9) and has an in-built cooling fan (12) that intakes air from the radiator (9) side and discharges air to the opposite side from the radiator (9), a reserve tank (22) that stores coolant that has overflowed from the radiator (9), an overflow pipe (23) that connects the radiator (9) and the reserve tank (22), an insertion port (22D) provided to the reserve tank (22) and into which the overflow pipe (23) is inserted, and a passage (13G) that is provided to the fan case (13) beneath the insertion hole (22D) and that draws coolant that has overflowed from the gap between the insertion hole (22D) and the overflow pipe (23) to the cooling fan (12) or the air discharge side of the cooling fan (12).
(FR) L'invention concerne un moteur permettant d'éviter que le compartiment de moteur ne devienne humide, du fait d'une configuration selon laquelle le liquide de refroidissement ayant fui à partir d'un réservoir de secours est pulvérisé vers l'extérieur au moyen d'un ventilateur de refroidissement. Ce moteur (1) comprend : un carter à soufflante (13) qui est agencé sur la surface latérale d'un radiateur (9) et qui comporte un ventilateur de refroidissement (12) incorporé qui aspire de l'air en provenance du côté radiateur (9) et évacue l'air vers le côté opposé au radiateur (9), un réservoir de secours (22) qui stocke le liquide de refroidissement qui a débordé du radiateur (9), un tube de trop-plein (23) qui relie le radiateur (9) et le réservoir de secours (22), un orifice d'insertion (22D) ménagé sur le réservoir de secours (22) et dans lequel est inséré le tube de trop-plein (23), et un passage (13G) qui est agencé sur le carter à soufflante (13) sous le trou d'insertion (22D) et qui aspire le liquide de refroidissement ayant débordé de l'espace entre le trou d'insertion (22D) et le tube de trop-plein (23) vers le ventilateur de refroidissement (12) ou le côté évacuation d'air du ventilateur de refroidissement (12).
