Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a device to be implanted in vivo, which can exhibit antibacterial activity simply by being implanted in vivo, in order to reduce patient load. This device to be implanted in vivo comprises a first material and a second material, wherein at least the surface of the first material includes an antibacterial metal, at least the surface of the second material is more precious than the first material, when used implanted in vivo an electrical circuit is formed between the first material and the second material, antibacterial metal ions are eluted from the first material in the presence of an electrolyte, and antibacterial action is exhibited on the surface and/or in the proximity of the surface of the first material.
(FR) L’invention concerne un instrument antibactérien destiné à être implanté dans un organisme vivant, lequel fait preuve de propriétés antibactériennes par le seul fait d’être implanté dans un organisme vivant, ce qui est avantageux pour un patient. L’invention concerne un instrument antibactérien destiné à être implanté dans un organisme vivant, lequel instrument est constitué d’un premier matériau et d’un deuxième matériau. Cet instrument antibactérien se caractérise en ce que: le premier matériau contient au moins sur sa surface un métal antibactérien et le deuxième matériau est au moins pour ce qui est de sa surface un métal plus précieux que le premier matériau; lorsque ledit instrument est implanté dans un organisme vivant, un circuit électrique est formé entre le premier matériau et le deuxième matériau; en présence d’un électrolyte, des ions métalliques antibactériens migrent à partir du premier matériau; et, la surface et/ou une zone proche de la surface de ce premier matériau est antibactérienne.
(JA) 患者の負荷軽減のため、生体内に埋め込むだけで抗菌性を発現できる生体内埋込用器具を提供する。 第一の材料と第二の材料から構成される生体内埋込用器具であって、第一の材料の少なくとも表面は抗菌性金属を含み、第二の材料の少なくとも表面は第一の材料より貴であり、生体内に埋め込んで使用される際に当該第一の材料と当該第二の材料との間で電気回路が構成され、電解質存在下において当該第一の材料から抗菌性金属のイオンが溶出し、当該第一の材料表面及び/又は近傍を抗菌性とすることを特徴とする抗菌性生体内埋込用器具。
