Abstract:
Provided is a method by which a transmission power is learned by a receiving station, without baseband signal-demodulation. Adjustment is performed so as to intentionally cause fluctuations, in accordance with the output strength of a wireless signal, in a reference frequency of the wireless signal and the frequency and position of a particular signal included in the wireless signal, thereby adding the output strength of the wireless signal as information. The frequency fluctuations are within a frequency oscillation limit. If the output strength of the wireless signal is higher, or lower, than a threshold value, a wireless signal of a frequency that is higher, or lower, than the reference frequency is output. When emergency communications are performed, the reference frequency is caused to fluctuate from the reference frequency by just the amount of a fluctuation frequency set for an emergency. The position of a pilot tone part included in a transmitted multi-carrier wireless signal may also be caused to fluctuate, in accordance with the output strength of the multi-carrier wireless signal.
