Abstract:
Two superconductive linear accelerators (3A, 3B) are respectively disposed either side of an undulator (1) having a self-amplified spontaneous emission function. Electron beams (8A, 8B) accelerated in each of the two superconductive linear accelerators (3A, 3B) enter the undulator (1) from opposite directions from each other, and, as a result, laser emission light (7B, 7A) is obtained from both sides of the undulator (1). One of the superconductive linear accelerators (3B, 3A) decelerates the electron beam emitted from the undulator (1) that entered from the other of the superconductive linear accelerators (3A, 3B), in order to recover energy.
