Abstract:
(EN) A liquid-crystal driving device 20 is formed by integrating: an external output terminal T(*) to which a source line of an LCD panel is exteriorly connected; a first driver 26(*) which generates a first source signal S1(*) having three or more gradations (for example, 256 gradations) and outputs the first source signal S1(*) to the external output terminal T(*); an abnormality detection unit (a logic unit 40 and an output monitor unit 70(*)) which detects an abnormality in the first source signal S1(*); and a second driver S2(*) which, when an abnormality in the first source signal S1(*) is detected, generates a second source signal S2(*) having two gradations and outputs the second source signal S2(*) to the external output terminal T(*). The LCD panel is driven in a predetermined polarity inversion drive system, and the abnormality detection unit, for example, monitors polarity inversion of the first source signal S1(*) in a fly-back period and detects an abnormality in the first source signal S1(*).
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif d’entraînement à cristaux liquides (20) formé par l'intégration : d'une borne de sortie externe (T (*)) à laquelle une ligne de source d'un panneau LCD est reliée extérieurement ; d'un premier dispositif d'entraînement (26 (*)) qui génère un premier signal source (S1 (*)) ayant trois ou plusieurs gradations (par exemple, 256 gradations) et émet le premier signal source (S1 (*)) vers la borne de sortie externe (T (*)) ; d'une unité de détection d'anomalie (une unité logique (40) et une unité de surveillance de sortie (70 (*))) qui détecte une anomalie dans le premier signal source (S1 (*)) ; et d'un second dispositif d'entraînement (S2 (*)) qui, lorsqu'une anomalie dans le premier signal source (S1 (*)) est détectée, génère un second signal source (S2 (*)) ayant deux gradations et émet le second signal source (S2 (*)) vers la borne de sortie externe (T (*)). Le panneau LCD est entraîné dans un système d'entraînement d'inversion de polarité prédéterminé, et l'unité de détection d'anomalie, par exemple, surveille l'inversion de polarité du premier signal source (S1 (*)) dans un temps de retour et détecte une anomalie dans le premier signal source (S1 (*)).
