Title: METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING PERFORMANCE DEGRADATION OF MACHINE ELEMENT, AND SYSTEM FOR SAME
Abstract:
Provided is a system for diagnosing performance degradation of a machine element, capable of accurately diagnosing, as early as possible, a state of occurrence of cracks, wear and the like occurring inside a machine element such as a bearing. This system for diagnosing performance degradation of a machine element includes: an AE sensor (1) which generates an AE waveform signal representing an acoustic wave generated by a machine element; a vibration sensor (2) which generates an acceleration signal representing vibration generated by the machine element; a signal processing unit (3) which includes an AE signal processing system (6) that subjects the AE waveform signal to prescribed signal processing, and a vibration signal processing system (7) that subjects the acceleration signal to signal processing, and which is also provided with a switching parameter generating unit (6a) which generates a prescribed numerical value based on the AE waveform signal, as a parameter for switching the AE signal processing system (6) from an AE measurement mode to a vibration measurement mode; and a control means (10) which performs control to select the AE signal processing system (6) processing result during an initial stage, and to select the vibration signal processing system (7) processing result after the numerical value has changed from increasing to decreasing with the passage of measuring time.
