(EN) An organic photoelectric conversion element 1 having an electron-collecting electrode 14, a hole-collecting electrode 13, and a photoelectric conversion unit disposed between the electron-collecting electrode 14 and the hole-collecting electrode 13, wherein the photoelectric conversion unit has at least a first organic compound layer 10, and the first organic compound layer 10 has a compound represented by the following general formula [1].
