Title: VIBRATING DEVICE, METHOD FOR DRIVING SAME, AND CAMERA
Abstract:
To provide a vibrating device enabling to obtain a large amplitude, while suppressing peeling at a bonding interface. A vibrating device 2 is provided with: a cylindrical vibrating body section 12 having a cylindrical member 14, and a piezoelectric vibrator 16 fixed to the cylindrical member 14; and a translucent body section 13, in which an outer peripheral portion is bonded to an leading end surface 14b of the cylindrical member 14, and which has a translucent part that is disposed in front of a lens 9. The vibrating device is configured such that the translucent body section 13 is vibrated in bending mode due to vibration of the cylindrical vibrating body section 12. The outer peripheral portion of the translucent body section 13 is bonded to the leading end surface 14b of the cylindrical vibrating body section 12 such that, in the bending mode, i.e., first mode, in which a central maximum displacement part of the translucent body section 13 in the Z direction, and the outer peripheral portion connected to the leading end surface 14b are displaced in the same direction, and second mode, in which the central maximum displacement part and the outer peripheral portion are displaced in the opposite directions, nodes in the first mode and the second mode are positioned within a bonding interface between the leading end surface 14b and the outer peripheral portion.
