Abstract:
In a surface orthogonal to the rotation axis, when the line passing through the center A between adjacent two screw holes (23) and the centroid P of an end plate (2) is denoted by r1, the distance from the intersection (21a) of r1 and an inner perimeter (21) to the centroid P is denoted by R1, the line passing through the center B of the screw hole (23) and the centroid P of the end plate (2) is denoted by r2, and the distance from the intersection (21b) of r2 and the inner perimeter (21) to the centroid P is denoted by R2, the end plate (2) of a rotating electric machine satisfies a relationship of R1 > R2. This enables stress during rotation to concentrate between the adjacent two screw holes (23) of the inner perimeter side rim portion (22) of the end plate (2), that is, on a portion without the screw holes, thereby enabling the stress acting on the screw holes (23) to be reduced.
