Abstract:
[Problem] To enable compressive stress occurring in a divided core to be reduced and a local stress concentration to be prevented from occurring even when a large compressive force acts on the outer circumference of the stator core of a rotating electric machine from the frame. [Solution] A rotating electric machine 1 has: a frame 4; a stator core 5 fixed on the inner circumferential surface of the frame 4 and provided with a plurality of divided cores 20 disposed in the circumferential direction; a groove 30 provided at the circumferential direction central position of the outer perimeter surface of each of the divided cores 20 in the axial direction; and a first projection portion 32 provided on a bottom portion 31 of the groove 30 and projecting toward the outside in the radial direction.
