Abstract:
(EN) Glass filler-reinforced solid resins and methods of making the same. The method includes contacting a flowable resin composition and a tool. The flowable resin composition includes a flowable resin and glass filler. The method includes molding or forming the flowable resin composition with the tool. The method includes curing the flowable resin composition, to form the glass filler-reinforced solid resin. Substantially all the surface of the tool that contacts the flowable resin composition during the curing thereof has a surface roughness Ra of about 2 microns or less. A refractive index of the glass filler is within about 0.100 of a refractive index of a cured product of the flowable resin in the glass filler-reinforced solid resin.
(FR) L'invention concerne des résines solides renforcées par une charge de verre et des procédés pour leur fabrication. Le procédé consiste à mettre en contact une composition de résine pouvant s'écouler et un outil. La composition de résine pouvant s'écouler comprend une résine pouvant s'écouler et une charge de verre. Le procédé comprend le moulage ou le façonnage de la composition de résine pouvant s'écouler avec l'outil. Le procédé comprend le durcissement de la composition de résine pouvant s'écouler, pour former la résine solide renforcée par une charge de verre. Pratiquement toute la surface de l'outil qui entre en contact avec la composition de résine pouvant s'écouler pendant son durcissement présente une rugosité de surface Ra d'environ 2 microns ou moins. Un indice de réfraction de la charge de verre est d'environ 0,100 d'un indice de réfraction d'un produit durci de la résine pouvant s'écouler dans la résine solide renforcée par une charge de verre.
