The invention relates to a universal, telescopic, self-retracting device that is made from a rigid material and can be installed in all types of drills for home or industrial use, with or without cables. The device fits to the base to which the chuck is coupled, completely covering the drill bit and thus preventing the risk of the hands making contact with the drill bit during use of the drill. A further advantage of this device is that the dimensions can be fixed, according to the requirements of the perforation, allowing the perforation to be perfectly repeatable. The device also allows as much waste as possible to be collected, thus protecting goods and equipment. Furthermore, since the device separates the tank from the chuck, it prolongs the shelf life of the drills, as it isolates the waste. The device can also be produced in transparent materials that allow the drill bit to be viewed completely.
