Abstract:
The invention relates to a tyre, the aspect ratio H/L of which is less than or equal to 0.75, comprising a crown reinforcement (4) formed by two working crown layers (41, 42) of reinforcing elements. According to the invention, the two working crown layers (41, 42) extend only over at least 40% of the tread width to form the crown reinforcement, the absolute value of the difference between the absolute values of the angles α2 and α1 being greater than 15°, α2 being greater than α1 in absolute value, the average angle α satisfying the equation 14+131*exp(-L/100) < α < 20+164*exp(-L/100), and the ratio of utilisation of the rupture potential F2/FR2 of the radially outermost working layer (42) being less than 1/6.
