Abstract:
The invention relates to a desiccant unit for electronic equipment, comprising: a bag (8) made of a plastic material with a hermetic closure; a vacuum-generating casing (2) containing a vacuum micro-pump (3), a receptacle (4) which holds a drying product and is positioned beyond the vacuum micro-pump (3), and batteries (5) for powering the micro-pump (3), and lastly a sleeve (6) for creating a hermetic join with the vacuum-generating casing at one end, and at the other end either with some of the various ports or with a part (7) of an electronic device (1) inside the elastic sleeve. The generated vacuum forces air to enter the electronic device that is to be dried via the joints and connection points, after which the air passes into the external elastic sleeve and from there to the vacuum micro-pump, and finally enters the receptacle that holds the drying product.
