Abstract:
(EN) There is disclosed a process and apparatus for treating urine. Urine is contained in a reservoir and contacted with a liquid side of a separation membrane which also has a gas side. A sweep gas flow is generated on the gas side of the separation membrane. Water in the urine is conducted from the liquid side to the gas flow side of the separation membrane, the separation membrane substantially preventing the passage of other components of urine from the liquid side to the gas flow side of the separation membrane. The water conducted to the gas flow side of the separation membrane is entrained in the sweep gas flow.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de traitement d'urine. L'urine est contenue dans un réservoir et mise en contact avec un côté liquide d'une membrane de séparation qui a également un côté gaz. Un flux de gaz d'entraînement est généré sur le côté gaz de la membrane de séparation. L'eau dans l'urine est acheminée du côté liquide au côté flux de gaz de la membrane de séparation, la membrane de séparation empêchant sensiblement le passage d'autres constituants d'urine du côté liquide au côté flux de gaz de la membrane de séparation. L'eau acheminée vers le côté flux de gaz de la membrane de séparation est entraînée dans le flux de gaz d'entraînement.
