Abstract:
The invention relates to a vehicle seat (F), comprising a seat frame that defines the structure of the vehicle seat (F), wherein, on at least one part (1, A, B, LH, R, S, SA1, SA2, ST) of the seat frame, at least one deformation area is provided, in which plastic deformation is deliberately permitted in the event of loading of the seat frame as the result of an accident, and the deformation area is at least partially covered by padding and/or a cover (3) when the vehicle seat (F) is properly installed in a vehicle. At least one mechanical or electronic signaling means (2, 2a, 2b, 7a, 7b) is provided on the vehicle seat (F), by means of which signaling means deformation that has occurred in the deformation area is signaled in such a way that said deformation can be detected by a user without separate removal of the padding and/or a cover (3).
