Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and to a device for melt spinning a synthetic thread for technical application purposes. In known godet arrangements, that is, when using multi-entwined godet duos having concordantly rotating godets, the thread is unevenly tempered. An upper limit is thus placed on the maximum achievable thread qualities. In the device according to the invention and in the method according to the invention, the thread is wound alternately about two inversely rotating godets of a godet duo, such that the thread is contacted in alternation by two opposite sides. A very uniform heat treatment of the thread is thus achieved and therefore technical threads of particularly high quality can be produced.
