Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for operating a fuel cell system (1), in particular during a deactivation process of the fuel cell system (1), comprising at least one fuel cell (1), a cathode line (10) conducting cathode air, an anode line (20) conducting fuel, a bleed-down circuit (31, 32) for reducing an, in particular common, voltage (U) during deactivation of the fuel cell system (1), and a control unit (37) for controlling the operation of the fuel cell system (1). For this purpose, according to the invention, the method comprises the following steps: a) deactivating the fuel cell system (1); b) activating a central control unit (37); c) monitoring the voltage (U) of the fuel cell system (1) via the control unit (37); and d) introducing service-life-extending measures for the fuel cell system (1) via the control unit (37) when the voltage (U) reaches a threshold (USchwelle2).
