Title: MAINTENANCE METHOD FOR DIRECTED LINK AND STATION (STA)
Abstract:
Disclosed are a maintenance method for a directed link and a station (STA), which can improve the accuracy and effectiveness for the STA to determine the availability of the directed link. The method in the embodiments of the present invention comprises: a first station (STA) monitoring an information packet, wherein the information packet carries first identification information, and the first identification information is used for identifying a first directed transmission beam used when a second STA transmits the information packet; the first STA judging whether the information packet is an information packet transmitted by the second STA to a third STA, and if so, acquiring the first identification information; the first STA judging whether the first identification information matches pre-set second identification information, if so, the first STA determining that the first directed transmission beam matches a second directed transmission beam, and modifying a numerical value of a counter corresponding to the directed link between the first STA and the second STA, wherein the second directed transmission beam is a directed transmission beam determined by the second STA in the directed link through beam training, and the second identification information is used for identifying the second directed transmission beam.
