Abstract:
(EN) A method of measuring a tread depth of a vehicle tire involves: measuring, at a hand-held device, a measurement of reflected energy reflected from a location between treads of the vehicle tire; and producing an output signal representing vehicle tire information comprising a measurement of the tread depth in response to the measurement of the reflected energy. Computer-readable media and apparatuses are also disclosed.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de mesure d'une profondeur de bande de roulement d'un pneumatique de véhicule qui consiste à : mesurer, au niveau d'un dispositif portatif, une mesure de l'énergie réfléchie qui est réfléchie par un emplacement entre des bandes de roulement du pneumatique de véhicule; et produire un signal de sortie représentant des informations de pneumatique de véhicule comprenant une mesure de la profondeur de bande de roulement en réponse à la mesure de l'énergie réfléchie. L'invention concerne également des supports pouvant être lus par ordinateur et des appareils.
